How the quota actually works
A 5xx never costs you a request.
If a source breaks on our side, the call is excluded from your monthly count. A 4xx does count: a wrong parameter is still a response we served.
The quota resets on the 1st, UTC.
A calendar month, not a rolling window. No rollover and no proration: unused requests do not carry forward.

Every response carries X-RateLimit-Remaining-Month, and the dashboard reads the same number enforcement uses.
